Job Description

Oral And Maxillofacial Surgeon Opportunity

Join a longstanding oral surgery practice serving Rutherford County since 1966. With offices in Murfreesboro and Smyrna, the team offers a broad clinical scope—from implants and bone grafting to full-mouth reconstruction—alongside a family-centered approach to care.

Whether you're an experienced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon or nearing the end of residency, you'll find a supportive team, access to mentorship and peer support, and the opportunity to build a long-term future with a clear path to partnership.

The practice's approach centers on thoughtful diagnosis, comprehensive case planning, meticulous surgery, and dedicated follow-up. Patients and families are treated with kindness and respect, and the team makes availability a priority for people facing urgent dental needs.

The clinical mix includes dental implants, implant-supported restorations, bone grafting, full-mouth reconstruction, wisdom teeth, facial trauma, and oral pathology. Same-day appointments are available, and the practice incorporates LPRF into appropriate procedures to support healing.

A strong clinical foundation includes:

• A broad restorative and surgical scope: Work across implants, implant-supported restorations, full-mouth reconstruction, bone and gum grafting, wisdom teeth, facial trauma, and oral pathology.
• Thoughtful surgical techniques: Use LPRF as part of appropriate treatment plans, with anesthesia options available to support patient comfort and care needs.
• Mentorship and peer support: Newer surgeons can access mentorship and experienced colleagues as they become part of the practice.
• A path to partnership: Join a majority doctor-owned organization, where eligible doctors can pursue partnership and equity early in their career.

Life in Rutherford County includes:

• Downtown with a local feel: Explore Murfreesboro's Public Square, with locally owned restaurants, shops, and community events, including seasonal live music.
• Make time to get outside: Find greenways, wetlands, parks, trails, golf, and recreation throughout Murfreesboro and Smyrna.
• Family-friendly discoveries: Visit the hands-on Discovery Center, explore historic Cannonsburgh Village, or enjoy outdoor play and seasonal activities.
• Smyrna's outdoor side: Spend weekends on multi-use trails, at Sharp Springs Park, or at the Smyrna Outdoor Adventure Center.
• Different ways to feel at home: Choose from Murfreesboro, Smyrna, La Vergne, Eagleville, and other Rutherford County communities to find the right fit for your life.

Requirements include:

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
• Certificate from an ADA-accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program
• Eligible for Tennessee dental licensure
• Experienced surgeons and residents nearing completion are welcome to inquire
