Job Description

We're looking for:

A courteous, organized, and experienced Veterinary Practice Manager to oversee daily hospital operations, staff, client service, and administrative functions. The ideal candidate is a strong leader and communicator who can effectively manage schedules, inventory, staffing, and team development while supporting a positive hospital culture.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead, train, coach, and support hospital team members while addressing performance and personnel needs.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and assist with staff development and scheduling.
  • Manage daily hospital operations, ensuring policies, procedures, and safety standards are followed.
  • Maintain inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, equipment, and controlled substances.
  • Oversee payroll and other administrative responsibilities accurately and on time.
  • Provide exceptional client service and ensure client concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Support accurate patient records, scheduling, and communication of veterinary orders and treatment plans.
  • Promote the hospital within the local community and veterinary community.
  • Partner with the Regional Manager and medical team to support hospital goals and continued growth.
  • Maintain effective communication and a positive, collaborative team environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Experienced or Certified Veterinary Practice Manager with a minimum of 1-year management experience preferred or 3+ years veterinary experience preferred
  • knowledgeable in veterinary medicine terminology and how to run a veterinary hospital 
  • Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
  • Highly organized and possess computer skills
  • Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset
  • Open availability with flexibility to change hours based on hospital's needs
